Smart Tips

Coconut oil

what is it?

It's a vegetal oil extract from cocos nucifera's pulp, rich and luxorious moisturizer, it can be used both for cosmetic and culinary purpose.

what do I use it for:

I use it mostly as an EYE MAKEUP REMOVER, because it's gentle, removes even waterproof makeup and it's anti-tears. It leaves my undereye area soft and moisturized and it smells super yummy too, which is always a plus.
I use it also as HAIR MASK, at night before bed, I massage a small amount of it on my hair from my ear down focusing on the ends, then I throw my hair up in a bun and go to sleep; in the morning i rense it off washing my hair as usual, maybe applying a light conditioner to not weight my hair down too much, and VOILA' my hair feel soooo soft and nourished. I reccomend it for who has long and damaged hair or maybe for who is coloring it or uses a lot of heat on them.

I sometimes use it as a cuticle oil and as a spot treatement for patches of dry skin it really works and it's totally unexpensive, it's all natural and doesn't contain harsh chemicals that can irritate your skin.

You can get it basically at every organic store and online as well, I got mine here: ecco verde.

And you? what do you use it for? do you use it in the kitchen? can you share some yummy recipies?

Lush Review:

King of skin/Parole di burro

I's almost been one year since i've been OBSESSED with Lush products, and i've found some amazing stuff but also a few things that weren't so good. My favourite product from lush it's by far it's king of skin, a body butter that smells like white chocolate (Yum!), basically you use it in the shower after you've cleaned your skin with showergel. You shut down the water and you rub it all over your wet body, than with a towel you pat dry and that's it!
Your skin will feel amazing soooo moisturized and nouirished, and if you're lazy like I am, it'a nice to skip lotion or body butter after showering. It leaves your skin scented but a little bit oily because it's so thick, so if you have oily skin or you hate oily products this is not the thing for you. It's also nice if you have to travel and you don't wanna bring a huge bottle of lotion with you. For my dry skin it's perfect and the igredients are completely natural, except for parfum. The price it's ok it lasts approx. two months, plus it's cruelty free! Here's the link if you wanna check it out http://www.lushusa.com/King-of-Skin/02176,en_US,pd.html
